SUMMARY The Organizational Development Specialist is responsible for delivery of organizational development (OD) services to our business partners that align with the Organizational Development Strategy. These services include the implementation of performance management, talent management, competency modeling, leadership development, and performance consulting.

RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Partner with HR Generalists to implement and teach talent management and succession planning processes within business units. Provide competency modeling and job design services to increase the effectiveness of individuals and teams. ? Consult with business partners to provide organizational development interventions. ? Facilitate meetings, workshops, trainings, and other events to engage business partners in process design and learning. ? Support the design and implement selection processes, ensuring that managers have the skills and abilities to make effective selection decisions. ? Design and implement organizational surveys for the purpose of gaining feedback for process improvement, and determining base-line measures for targeted improvement initiatives; work with OD Analyst(s) to analyze data and design communication tools to deliver results. ? Provide survey and feedback tools, including 360 feedback; partner with management to provide feedback reports and training to participants. ? Utilize analytic tools to manage organizational talent. ? Assess organizational effectiveness; conduct research studies of policy and procedures, work environments, organizational structure, communication systems, morale, and motivation. ? Advise management in strategic changes to personnel, managerial, operational and merchandising policies and practices to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS ? Experience using organizational development tools to improve individual, team, and organizational performance. ? Experienced with the concepts and standards of performance management, talent management, organizational development and effectiveness, company culture improvement principles, and selection testing; and the design and implementation of such tools, including computer-based systems. ? Demonstrated strong knowledge of organizational systems, strategic business planning, needs assessment, design and delivery of evaluation measurements, cost benefit analysis, and survey design. ? Expert facilitator and practitioner of Organizational Development (OD) tools including: 360 feedback, selection and development assessments, survey tools and methodology, organizational learning, career planning, coaching, and team development. ? Experience facilitating and consulting with business leaders; ability to work as an independent consultant to company leaders. ? Strong Microsoft Office skills. ? Strong written and verbal communication skills with above average presentation skills; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. ? Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders across functions and levels to achieve business objectives and drive strategic change.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelors of Science degree (Masters degree preferred) in OD, IO Psychology or related fields; and 2 years minimum experience in organization development, preferably working in retail organizations; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
